Most people believe the human body has seven chakras. Aathman Awareness Centre, however, explains that there is a deeper nine-chakra system that includes two hidden energy centres rarely discussed in mainstream spiritual teachings. According to the centre, these chakras were revealed through the grace of HH Guruji Sundar and are meant to support deeper awareness and spiritual evolution rather than satisfy curiosity.

The centre explains that these hidden energy centres, the Pidari Kan (Mane) Chakra and the Manonmaniyam Chakra, were revealed through the grace of HH Guruji Sundar. They are considered advanced centres of meditation and should be approached with sincerity, spiritual maturity and divine grace rather than curiosity.

Pidari Kan Chakra and its role in meditation

The Pidari Kan, also known as the Mane Chakra, is said to be located at the back of the head near the ganglion region of the brain. Aathman Awareness Centre explains that meditation on this chakra may allow a yogi to receive divine visions connected to previous births.

The centre says these experiences unfold only through God’s grace and not according to personal choice. Information from different lifetimes may appear in any sequence as guided by the divine.

It also explains that meditation on this chakra is believed to help reverse the body’s clock and attract another person’s attention.

HH Guruji Sundar says, “Both Mahavira and Buddha instructed their disciples to meditate on this chakra not out of curiosity about previous births, but to help them realise how they had lived before, understand the mistakes they had repeatedly made, and ensure that the present life was not wasted in the same way.”

According to the centre, such revelations may be emotionally challenging because present-day relationships could appear in entirely different forms from previous lifetimes.

Manonmaniyam Chakra and understanding the mind

Aathman Awareness Centre describes the Manonmaniyam Chakra as the centre of the mind. It is believed to exist between the Thuriam, Ajna, Pidari Kan and Vishuddhi chakras and is associated with the subtle region near the inner tongue.

Unlike other chakras, this centre cannot be physically identified. The centre explains that every meditator must discover it through personal spiritual practice.

Meditation on this chakra is believed to help a yogi understand the workings of the mind. As awareness deepens, the centre says, a person gains greater clarity over personal thoughts and gradually develops insight into the patterns of other minds as well.

It also explains that meditation in this chakra allows practitioners to remain in deep meditation for longer periods without physical discomfort, while maintaining a neutral effect on the body without producing sensations of heat or cold.

For those unable to settle into this chakra, Aathman Awareness Centre advises sincere prayer to Guruji so that, through his grace, one may become established in it.

The centre emphasises that these hidden chakras are meant to support spiritual awareness and inner evolution. Their purpose is not to satisfy curiosity but to deepen meditation through the grace of Guru and God.
