A young man from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) crossed the border to meet a woman he fell in love with online.
Zeeshan Mir, from Muzaffarabad district in PoK, reportedly fell in love with Iram Majeed, who lives in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir, after the two connected on Snapchat. Officials say this online relationship led Mir to illegally cross the Line of Control (LoC) so he could meet her in person.
After completing the required legal and security procedures, Mir was handed over to Pakistan Army officials at the Kaman Aman Setu crossing on July 4.
