Dhamaal 4, directed by Ajay Devgn, has finished all its certification processes in advance of its theatrical release and has been given the U/A 13+ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The comedy entertainer has reportedly gone through slight cuts before being cleared, though not a single scene was cut from the final product.

CBFC requested to make dialogue and gesture changes

The CBFC has directed the filmmakers to alter two inflammatory scenes from the film that were seen as “obscene,” according to Bollywood Hungama. In addition, the use of seven different words in conversations were changed in the movie.

In spite of the changes, the censor board did not request any cuts in the film and the runtime was not reduced affecting the narrative of the film. The certificate was given to the makers after they made the necessary changes on July 2.

Runtime and release dates confirmed

The certification also says that Dhamaal 4 runs for 143 minutes or 2 hours and 23 minutes. The movie, helmed by Indra Kumar, will be released in theatres on July 10, 2026.

Star-Studded cast returns

The fourth episode of the popular comedy series brings back to the plate some familiar faces like Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra and Jaaved Jaaferi. Other members of the ensemble are Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar and Ravi Kishan.

Presented by T-Series in association with Devgn Films, the movie is produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit and Kumar Mangat Pathak.

No major cuts

Most of the film is going to be shown as planned by the director and producer. With the CBFC certification done, Dhamaal 4 will be a major comedy release of the season next week.
