Anshula Kapoor, Boney Kapoor’s daughter, is all set to marry her boyfriend Rohan Thakkar in Mumbai on July 6. Her pre-wedding celebrations are now in full swing.
She shared a glimpse of her chooda ceremony, saying it finally started to feel real. Anshula also posted a picture of an emotional moment where she’s seen hugging her brother, Arjun Kapoor.
Chooda, kalire and happy tears
“Chooda. Kalire. Blessings. The moment it all started to feel real,” Anshula wrote, sharing pictures from her chooda ceremony on Instagram.
The first picture shows her posing for a family photo with Boney, Arjun, and her half-sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, though everyone in the photo can’t stop laughing.
She also shared playful moments with Khushi, cousin Shanaya Kapoor, Orry, and others as they helped fix her kalire, which she later shook over her head as part of the tradition. Shanaya and Orry are seen cracking up in the pictures, with Shanaya even showing off a kalira that seemingly fell on her.
Amid all the color and laughter, one black and white picture stands out, showing Anshula in tears as she shares an emotional hug with Arjun.
Anshula Kapoor’s mehendi ceremony
Anshula also had her mehendi ceremony earlier on Sunday, attended by her cousin Sonam Kapoor and other family members. Thanking Janhvi and Khushi for giving her one of the happiest days of her life, in an instagram post, she wrote, “Thank you for giving me a mehendi beyond what I could have dreamed of! Every thoughtful touch, every beautiful corner, every moment reflected the love and care you poured into making it so special.”
She added in other instagram post, “The greatest gift was that I could simply be present, soak it all in, and feel completely celebrated because you had taken care of absolutely everything. Thank you for giving me one of the happiest days of my life. I love you both endlessly.”
In another post, she wrote, “@janhvikapoor and @khushikapoor planned the entire mehendi as a surprise. I knew there was a celebration – I just had no idea what they had dreamt up. Watching it all unfold, surrounded by so much love, is a memory I’ll hold onto forever.”
The couple first met through a dating app in 2022 and made their relationship Instagram-official in March 2023. They got engaged last October in an intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends. Her pre-wedding celebrations kicked off with a Mata Ki Chowki on June 21.
