Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has added another global milestone to his growing list of achievements. The artist recently appeared on Vogue US for a candid “What’s In My Bag?” interview, offering fans a closer look at the personal belongings he carries while travelling and on tour. The video was released on Vogue’s official YouTube channel on July 1.

Right at the beginning of the conversation, Diljit addressed viewers with his trademark humility, saying, “Please bear with my English.” The light-hearted remark quickly set the tone for an honest and relaxed interaction.

Throughout the interview, Diljit shared the items that remain with him wherever he goes, many of which reflect his faith, daily routine and personal values.

Among the first things he showed was the Gutka Sahib, a sacred Sikh prayer book that he said has been with him for decades. He also carries a salai, a small tool used to neatly maintain his turban. 

Another item close to his heart is a Rudraksh chain with spiritual crystals. According to Diljit, the chain was gifted by a fan after two of his shows sold out, making it one of the belongings he keeps with him at all times. 

From wellness rituals to music, Diljit’s bag reflects his lifestyle 

The singer also opened up about a wellness habit that is part of his nightly routine. Speaking about the oil mixture he uses, he said, “It is very important to nurture your belly button; you can do it with coconut oil or ghee, but I do it with neem and mustard oil.”

Apart from spiritual and wellness essentials, Diljit carries his laptop to access music files, song ideas and other work-related data whenever needed.

His bag also includes a coffee frother, a medicine box for gallbladder stones that were detected in 2015 and for which he has not undergone surgery, earrings gifted by fans and makhana, which he prefers as a quick snack while travelling.

Diljit’s fashion choices also stood out during the interview. He revealed that the studded Satoshi Nakamoto weekender duffel bag featured in the video was purchased just two days earlier while he was on tour because he enjoys shopping. 

For the appearance, he wore a cropped jacket from the Chanel Spring/Summer 2026 collection by Mathieu Blazy. The women’s Ready-To-Wear jacket was paired with a white crew-neck T-shirt, black trousers and his signature orange turban, completing the polished yet distinctive look.
