The Pentagon has released a fresh batch of declassified files related to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), commonly referred to as UFOs, offering new details from military sightings, surveillance footage and official reports. The latest disclosure, published on July 10, 2026, contains 40 records collected from multiple US government agencies, including the Pentagon, NASA, the CIA, the FBI and the Department of Energy.
The newly published material consists of 14 documents, 19 videos, four audio recordings and three images. Released through the Pentagon’s official UAP portal under an executive order signed earlier this year by President Donald Trump, the collection includes incidents dating from the early 2010s through 2025.
Veteran military aviator describes unexplained object
Among the most talked-about records is a debrief from a military aviator who reported witnessing an unusual object during a flight over the eastern United States in 2019.

According to the report, the aviator and four other personnel observed an object moving below their aircraft at high speed in a straight path. The object remained visible for around 10 to 15 seconds before disappearing from the aircraft’s camera view.

Reflecting on the incident, the aviator wrote that its flight behaviour was “unlike anything I had seen” during 28 years of service in both the Air Force and the Navy.
The report says the pilot attempted to zoom in for a clearer view, but the object moved out of the camera’s field of vision and could not be located again. After reviewing the footage, the object appeared rectangular in shape. Other experienced crew members on board were also unable to identify it.
Report details incident near nuclear weapons facility
Another document released by the Department of Energy focuses on an incident at the Pantex nuclear weapons facility near Amarillo, Texas, in September 2015.
According to the report, security personnel placed the facility under lockdown after detecting an unidentified object inside restricted airspace. Guards reportedly tracked the object using binoculars, describing it as completely silent and showing no visible propulsion system.
Recent cases linked to Indo-Pacific region
The latest incidents included in the release are from 2025 under the US military’s Indo-Pacific Command.
