Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas has some happy news for her fans, she’s engaged! She surprised everyone by announcing it and introducing her fiancé, Shekhar Chaudhary, on the opening night of her much-awaited ‘The Dream Girl India Tour’ in Delhi on July 11.

Videos from the concert, now going viral on Instagram, show Jasmine calling Shekhar up on stage and introducing him to the crowd as her “man.”

The singer, best known for her song ‘Shararat’ from Dhurandhar, also showed off her engagement ring proudly during the moment.

A ring, a dance, and a viral moment

A video going viral on Instagram shows Jasmine holding her fiancé Shekhar’s hand on stage as she announces the engagement. “This is the man who put a ring on it. This is my man, everybody!” she said, before rushing over to hug him tightly, overjoyed.

The two then shared a romantic dance to her hit song ‘Laavan,’ with fans loving their chemistry on stage. Before walking off, Shekhar blew her a kiss, and soon after, Jasmine got emotional.

What’s next on the tour

According to News 18, The Delhi concert kicked off Jasmine’s India tour and was held at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi. During the show, she performed several of her popular tracks, including ‘Taras’, ‘Illegal Weapon’, ‘Laavan’, ‘Panjeba’, and ‘Sip Sip’, along with ‘Shararat’ and ‘Jaiye Sajana’ from Dhurandhar.

Next up, Jasmine will perform in Mumbai on July 18, Bengaluru on July 25, and Chandigarh on August 29, as part of ‘The Dream Girl India Tour’.

Jasmine Sandlas has built a strong fan base with her Punjabi tracks, and has also won wider recognition through her Bollywood and film songs.

Born in Jalandhar, Punjab, and raised in Stockton, California, she started her music career in 2007 with her debut track, Muskan, which quickly became popular. She made her Bollywood playback singing debut in 2014 with Yaar Na Miley from Salman Khan’s film Kick, a massive hit that topped music charts and made her voice and style widely recognised.

Since then, she’s delivered several popular songs, including Taras from Munjya (2024), Shararat and the title track from Dhurandhar (2025), followed by Main Aur Tu and Jaiye Sajna from Dhurandhar: The Revenge (2026).
