Fans angry with alleged leak
Almost immediately upon the leak of the video, fans of Ranbir Kapoor and the movie criticized the leak with many demanding stern actions against the guilty party.
According to several social media users, leaking videos of movies like these would only demoralize the cast and crew of the movie and take away from the theater experience.

Ramayana teaser previously drew mixed reactions

The teaser introduced Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Lord Ram and marked the beginning of the film’s promotional campaign. While many viewers praised the ambition and scale of the project, some sections of the audience criticised aspects of the visual effects.
Following the mixed reactions, producer Namit Malhotra had acknowledged audience feedback, stating that the team remained committed to presenting the epic with authenticity and respect.

“We’re listening closely, working diligently, and pouring every effort possible into honouring it with the reverence it holds,” Malhotra had said in a statement following the teaser release.
