Actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee has tragically passed away after reportedly drowning during a shooting schedule in coastal West Bengal. According to sources, he was staying in Mandarmani and had travelled to Talasari for a shoot when the accident occurred. Reports suggest he drowned in the water during the schedule. The East Midnapore district police have confirmed his death, leaving the Tollywood industry shocked and grieving over the sudden loss.

According to sources, the tragic accident occurred on Sunday while shooting at Talasari in Odisha. It has been reported that Rahul had gone there for the shoot of the serial ‘Bhole Baba Par Karega’. During the shoot, the actor reportedly drowned.

After a long delay, technicians managed to rescue him from the water. He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Atish Biswas, Additional Superintendent of Police of East Midnapore district, told Ei Samay Online, “We have learned that the death occurred due to drowning. Everything is being thoroughly investigated.”
